IN-HOUSE : EU PUBLIC AFFAIRS AND REGULATORY – SENIOR EXECUTIVE

Our client, an International Association located in Brussels, with over 200 active member companies, has instructed us to recruit a Senior EU Public Affairs/Regulatory Executive with several years’ relevant experience. The successful candidate will have a legal background with strong commercial, financial, and public affairs expertise and will work in a team of financial and public affairs managers to further develop the association’s network of influence. In particular, participating in the development and implementation of strategies, along with dealing with political and regulatory bodies, the media and general public across Europe and beyond. The ideal candidate is a native or near native English speaker with excellent knowledge of French and/or German. Familiarity with the real estate sector and experience working for a business as well as a law firm and/or an institution would be ideal. High level officials from the European Commission are of particular interest. As this profile includes two very different practice areas (real estate/EU public affairs) which do not ordinarily go hand-in-hand, we would like to hear from you if you have experience in one area and at least a proven interest in the other. On balance we are seeking to recruit a highly motivated candidate with a mix of legal expertise, maturity, and dynamic personality who would have the right combination of all of the above.
